Wuyuan is a rural county of 100+ ancient Huizhou villages scattered across 2,900 km². Foreigner-friendly stays concentrate in 3 areas: Likeng (most-booked, easy access), Huangling (the hanging village on a cliff), and Jiangling (rapeseed-flower fields). Spring rapeseed season (mid-Mar to early Apr) is peak — book 2-3 months ahead.
📍 Likeng (李坑) or Huangling (篁岭): the only areas with reliable English-speaking hosts; both are 30-40 min from Wuyuan town by car.
