武汉 · Guía de viaje

⟦city.wuhan⟧ para extranjeros

Yellow Crane Tower, hot dry noodles, and the meeting of the Yangtze and Han rivers.

Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province and the largest city in central China — population 13+ million, area 8,500 km². The city is famously split by the meeting of the Yangtze and Han rivers, which makes it the historic "thoroughfare of nine provinces" and a key transport hub. Wuhan is the cradle of the 1911 revolution that ended 2,000 years of imperial rule, the site of the 1938 Battle of Wuhan, and (briefly) the capital of China during the early Republican era.
